What is Powder Coating?
Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint which is delivered via an evaporating solvent, powder coating is applied electrostatically and then cured under heat, which creates a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. What is Media Blasting?
Media blasting, sometimes known as sandblasting or shotblasting, is the operation of forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material against a surface under high pressure to smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface or remove surface contaminants. Compressed air is used to propel the blasting material (often called the media).
